POTS Treatment Center: Questions?

As you know already–I’m heading off to Dallas in late February to get treated at the POTS Treatment Center. I know a lot of readers have questions about the center. If you’d like to leave a comment with a specific question I’d be happy to ask it and do a big Q&A post when I return! Yes, please ask if they treat people in their 40s successfully. If it matters why you have POTS – many different reasons for it. Can they treat the POTS if you have Lyme? And do women still get symptomatic during hormonal times after treatment?
I hope it works for you. I look forward to hearing about your experience. I may end up going eventually. Good luck!

I concur but please ask about success rates with even older woman (55) Ive had POTS since I was 7 and searched my whole life for a way to feel “normal” I was just diagnosed with POTS two months after my husband was diagnosed with cancer. We survive on his disability right now . We have out of network coverage. Please ask if they accept any insurance and we’ll try to borrow the rest. My prayers are with you for a full recovery. Janie

I am really interested in learning how the biofeedback they offer differs from traditional biofeedback and what the at-home exercises are like. I can’t wait to hear about all of it. I am so glad you’re able to go. I really hope you find relief.

  3. […] As I’ve mentioned, in just a short two weeks I’ll be heading off to Dallas, Texas for the POTS Treatment Program. I’m nervous, excited, and ready to get started. I’ll be blogging/video blogging/twittering and facebooking the whole adventure—so for those patients who are considering flying out for the program this is your chance to get a close-up view on what the program is really like! Remember to leave a comment on this post if you have any questions about the POTS Treatment Center! […]

My wife will be going to the POTS treatment center in about a month and I’m curious how this treatment differs from just getting your own Biofeedback machine and doing therapy that way. Any help around that would be great.
