Remember my surprise cake and big juicy secret? This is what it said. And it was delicious!

Like my blog? You’ll definitely like my book!

For those of you who don’t already know (thanks to my mom’s proud (big) mouth) I signed my first book deal with Demos Health a few weeks ago.

We finally have a title and are ready to do some pre-publishing press! The book will be called “Outsmarting Chronic Illness: How to Stay Sane, Calm the Chaos, and Live One Step Ahead of Your Most Inconvenient Symptoms” and will be available in bookstores and online! (Yeah, you’ll see it on the shelves in Barnes and Nobles!)

Wahoo! The book is planned to be out in August 2015, but maybe sooner? I’m kind of diving right in.

I am so proud and so honored to be working with Demos Health on this book. Editor Julia Pastore, is amazing and I’m pretty sure she’s going to be a great firewall against me publishing something I’ll be embarrassed about later!

Excited to be among other great health writers like Joy Selak, Joan Friedlander, and Shelley Peterman Schwarz.
